Born and raised in Sonora, California, I grew up riding BMX and mountain bikes before there were disc brakes or suspension. I started wrenching on bikes as soon as I could reach the tools over the workbench in my dad’s garage.

I’ve worked in shops in Phoenix and Sacramento, and operated a mobile bicycle repair business in San Diego for the last 10 years. I was the Service Course Manager for Pinarello US for 3.5 years, running the demo program and supporting a team of sponsored athletes at gravel races.
