The Shimano S-PHYRE RC903 is a race-focused road cycling shoe designed for efficient power transfer, precise fit and secure foot support during high-intensity riding.

A stiff carbon composite sole is paired with Shimano's low-profile construction, dual BOA Li2 dials and a lightweight microfiber upper to create a responsive platform for racing and performance road cycling.

Carbon Sole & 12/12 Stiffness

The RC903 uses a carbon fiber composite midsole with Shimano's maximum 12/12 stiffness rating, providing a rigid platform for efficient power transfer under hard efforts.

Shimano Dynalast geometry is designed to support a smoother pedaling motion, while the low stack construction helps create a direct connection between the foot and pedal.

The shoes are designed for SPD-SL road cleats.

Dual BOA Li2 Fit System

Two low-profile BOA Li2 dials allow fast and precise fit adjustments across the foot.

A slim cross-lacing layout and adjustable Powerzone wire guide help secure the forefoot, while the integrated seamless upper and midsole construction improves fit and stability without unnecessary bulk.

The lightweight microfiber synthetic leather upper is perforated for ventilation during demanding road rides.

An anti-twist heel counter helps stabilize the rear of the foot during hard accelerations and high-cadence efforts.

How stiff are the Shimano S-PHYRE RC903 shoes?

Shimano gives the RC903 a stiffness rating of 12 out of 12, its highest stiffness level for maximum power transfer.

What cleats are compatible with the Shimano RC903?

The RC903 is designed for Shimano SPD-SL road cleats and other compatible three-bolt road pedal systems.

What closure system does the RC903 use?

The shoes use two low-profile BOA Li2 dials with a cross-lacing layout for precise fit adjustment and forefoot support.
