Varia eRTL615 Ebike Rear View Radar with Taillight

The Garmin Varia eRTL615 is a rearview radar and tail light designed specifically for compatible eBikes, helping you stay aware of vehicles approaching from behind while increasing your visibility on the road.

Unlike battery-powered Varia models, the eRTL615 connects directly to your compatible eBike, so there is no separate radar battery to recharge between rides.

Paired with a compatible Garmin smartwatch, Edge bike computer or smartphone using the Varia app, it provides visual and audible alerts when vehicles approach from behind.

Rearview Radar with Detection up to 140m

The Varia eRTL615 rearview radar detects vehicles approaching from behind from up to 140 meters (150 yards) away.

When paired with a compatible device, the radar provides visual and audible alerts to help you monitor approaching traffic without constantly looking behind you.

It can integrate with selected Garmin Edge bike computers, Garmin wearables and the Varia smartphone app.

Powered Directly by Your eBike

The Garmin eRTL615 is Garmin's battery-free rearview radar solution for compatible electric bikes.

Instead of relying on an internal rechargeable battery, it plugs directly into the eBike's power system, reducing the number of devices you need to charge after each ride.

This makes it especially practical for regular commuting, long-distance eBike riding and riders who want their safety equipment integrated directly into the bike.

Connection cable is sold separately.

Integrated Tail Light with Daylight Visibility

In addition to rearview radar detection, the Varia eRTL615 includes an integrated rear light designed to increase your visibility to motorists.

The tail light offers daylight visibility from up to 1 mile away, helping drivers notice your presence earlier.

Its flash pattern can also change when the radar detects an approaching vehicle, providing an additional visual alert for drivers behind you.

Four Light Modes

The Garmin Varia eRTL615 offers four rear-light modes to adapt to different riding conditions.

These include a peloton mode, which uses a lower-intensity flash designed to be less distracting to cyclists riding behind you in a group.

ANT+ & Bluetooth Connectivity

The eRTL615 uses both ANT+ connectivity and Bluetooth Low Energy technology to communicate with compatible devices and applications.

This allows radar alerts to be displayed through compatible Garmin devices or directly on a smartphone using the Garmin Varia app.
